Dr. Conibear is highly published and renowned in the field of occupational medicine with over 35 years of experience. Presently she serves as Consulting Medical Director to such firms as AT&T, USG Corporation and Akzo Nobel Chemicals. She designs and implements occupational health programs for large and small companies. She performs and oversees comprehensive patient exams to evaluate fitness-for-duty, disability and workers compensation issues as well as DOT and OSHA compliance physicals. Dr. Conibear developed a Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) clarification program which has greatly reduced fraud and abuse as a cost containment service for our clients. Dr. Conibear is Board-Certified in Occupational Medicine and residency-trained in Family Medicine. She holds both a Doctor of Medicine and a Masters of Public Health degree from the University of Illinois. She is a certified Medical Review Officer (MRO), a Board-Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME), a Designated Civil Surgeon for US Citizenship and Immigration exams, and an approved provider for the Federal Black Lung program.

 

She has over 35 years of experience performing occupational medicine and environmental consulting services, and 10 years experience in academic teaching.  She received her Masters of Public Health and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Illinois-Chicago and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Natural Science from Shimer College in Chicago.
