Our client, a Fortune 500 organization, needs to hire an Industrial Hygiene
professional, for one of their largest chemical processing sites. Reporting
to the Safety Manager, will be one of two IH professionals. Responsible for:
providing technical IH guidance and support for the plant, while interacting
with managers, superintendents, supervisors, and operators; will take a
leadership role for compliance with Federal and State IH regulations; will
provide leadership and IH innovative strategies; will provide guidance on IH
program development by anticipating, recognizing, and implementing methods
to control hazards in the workplace; will perform IH audits, identify
discrepancies, and drive corrections; and will represent the plant during
IN-OSHA visits and in the community during emergency response activities.
