Jacob has 10 years of experience in environmental health and safety consulting with particular emphasis in occupational exposure assessment.  He is currently employed as a Senior Associate at ENVIRON.  He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) through the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH), and also maintains multiple IDPH licenses for asbestos and lead. He is also a Licensed Industrial Hygienist (LIH) in the State of Illinois through the IEPA.

Education includes a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana (2001).
He is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Public Health (MPH) at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL.

Professional affiliations include membership with ABIH and AIHA, including active participation with the Chicago area local section of AIHA on the Board of Directors.

• Indoor Air Quality investigations for commercial and residential buildings;

• Occupational exposure monitoring for compliance with OSHA settlement agreements;

• Property condition assessments for asbestos, lead, mold, chemical contaminants, water quality, and noise;

• Safety training and asbestos awareness training;

• Asbestos regulatory compliance (AHERA) for over 200 schools.
