Ms. McClellan has spent the last 19 years practicing industrial hygiene in a wide variety of industries after completing graduate studies at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. As a self-employed consultant she has provided industrial hygiene services to the automotive, hospital, circuit board, food, pharmaceutical, chemical, military defense, energy, furniture and banking industries. Beyond certification with ABIH, Ms. McClellan is a recent past director and committee chair on the ABIH Board of Directors and currently represents ABIH as liaison to the AIHA Joint Industrial Hygiene Ethics Education Committee and the global Occupational Hygiene Training Association (OHTA) of the International Occupational Hygiene Association (IOHA). She was also recently selected to serve on the OHTA Board of Directors. At a local level, she served as President and a Director of the Michigan Industrial Hygiene Society for 12 years and on the Alabama AIHA Local Section Board of Directors for 3 years. Ms. McClellan recently relocated to the Chicago area after living in the Huntville, Alabama area for 6 years and is grateful to return to the black soil of the Midwest, even if it does come along with 22 inches of snow.
