Chandra Gioiello
received her Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from Franklin
and Marshall
College
in 2003. She received her Master’s Degree in Industrial Hygiene from University
of New Haven in 2009. She worked for Industrial Health and Safety Consultants in Shelton, CT
intermittently between 2000 and 2006, when she began working full-time for the company performing a variety of Industrial Hygiene and Hazard Communication roles. She was hired in January, 2010 to work for HA International, LLC in Westmont, IL as the Regulatory Compliance Specialist. She is currently transitioning between jobs and is returning to Industrial Health and Safety Consultants as a Senior Consultant. She specializes in international hazard communication regulations. She has performed training for various companies while working on her Master’s Project comparing human and computer based training methods. She has been trained in GHS classification and labeling and has written GHS SDS for various companies selling products in locations such as New Zealand, Hong Kong, and Japan. She is highly active with the Society of Chemical Hazard Communication (SCHC) and serves on multiple committees. She is on the Board of Directors of the Chicago AIHA. She also is part of the team developing the new SCHC/AIHA join SDS and Label Author Registry.
